Shrouding - Schulte FX-315 Operator's Manual

NOTE: When the FX-315 is equipped with Turf
Tires, the panel on the wing residue distribution
tailboard must be removed or damage will occur to
tire.

Shrouding

Refer to the Shrouding section of the Parts Manual
1. The fixed shrouding on the center section is
attached to the cutter by using the tabs on the
shrouding and four ½" x 1-1/4" bolts, six ½" x 3-
1/2" bolts, ten ½" lock nuts, ten ½" washers and
two ½" lock washers.
2. The center section adjustable shrouding is
attached to the fixed shrouding using the slots
on the adjustable shrouds and the mounting
holes on the fixed shrouds. Attach with ten ½" x
1-1/4" bolts, ten ½" washers and ten ½" lock
nuts. Ensure the bolt heads are on the inside of
the shrouding. The adjustable shrouding goes
on the inside of the fixed shrouding except on
the side shrouds of the center section, these go
on the outside.
3. The fixed shrouding on the wing sections is
attached to the cutter using the mounting tabs
and mounting holes. Attach with two ½" x 1-1/
4" bolts, two ½" washers and two ½" lock nuts
(per wing).
4. The adjustable shrouds on the wing sections
are attached to the fixed shrouds using the
slots on the adjustable shrouds and the mount-
ing holes on the fixed shrouds. Attach with one
½" x 1-1/4" bolt, one ½" x 1-1/2" bolt, two ½"
washers and two ½" lock nuts.
