    ALWAYS OPERATE WITH THE WING HYDRAULIC CYLINDER CONTROL VALVES IN A FLOAT POSITION. • For maximum performance and service life, Always use Genuine Schulte replacement parts. Operating Noise Level/Sound Pressure The sound levels at the operator's ear from the attached machine (rotary cutter) are at least 10 dB(A) below the levels from typical Agricultural tractors used to power and transport this machine.

    Chain Guards The FX-315 comes with either single or double chain guards. Use the Parts Manual for chain guard locations on the rotary cutter. Insert the middle link of a13 link chain into the first slot of the chain rail and slide the1/4” galvanized rod into the link.

    ASSEMBLY Assembly from a Container The following are instructions to set up the FX-315 cutter from out of a shipping container. The hitch must be lifted off the cutter deck and pinned to the tension links. The hose holder must also be attached.

    The recommended tractor HP for the FX-315 is 85 HP, minimum 65 HP. The recommended tractor HP for the FX310 is 75 HP, minimum 50 HP. Operating the mower with a tractor that does not have enough power will produce a less desirable cut and may cause tractor engine damage.

    Place the tractor shift lever into a low range or parking gear to prevent the tractor from rolling. Never dismount a Tractor that is moving or while the engine is running.
