1. Remove oil pan. See Engine/Lubrication/PAN, Oil - Removal.
2. Drill a 3.175 mm (1/8 in.) hole in the center of the retainer cap. See Fig. 198. Insert a self-threading sheet
metal screw into the cap.
3. Using suitable pliers, remove cap and discard.
4. Remove spring and relief valve. See Fig. 198.
