6. Remove connecting rod cap. Install Guide Pins 8189 (3) on connecting rod to guide cracked connecting
rod (4).
7. Remove each piston (1) and connecting rod assembly (4) out of the cylinder bore.
NOTE:
Be careful not to nick crankshaft journals.
8. After removal, install bearing cap on the mating rod.
