4.2 Configure the Buscoupler

a. Remove the buscoupler plastic housing by using a small
b. Set the 2 wire/ 4 wire connection switches to 4 WIRE MODE.
c. Set up the dip switches marked FR and P as follows.

mode. Watch dog ON, 3x end of frame, error check ON.
* this software can be obtained from:
a. Connect the cable from the B&B converter to COM 2 of your
computer. Run Modscan.
Click on Setup, then Serial, configure the software for COM 2,
19.2KB, Lenght 8, Stop Bit 1, Parity None.
Select OK
Select Action from the menu bar. Select Start Poll. This puts the
buscoupler on line. Verify operation by viewing the Tx and Rx
lights on the WAGO Modbus buscoupler.
