Maintenance
Empty the cup (4) and clean with clean diesel fuel.
Replace the oil ring (2) and lubricate it with diesel fuel.
Assemble the components 1 to 4 in this exact order.
Do not forget the red plastic ring (1).
Tighten retainer (3) manually, do not use tools.

Set the shutoff-valve to the "OPEN" position.
Bleed the fuel system (page 93).
Check the water separator for leaks.
Close the engine compartment cover.
Dispose of cleaning cloths according to the applicable environmental protection regulations.
