Useful information
› The HABITAT is operated by an Android or

iOs tablet PC, which is part of the delivery
scope.
› As an alternative the HABITAT Graphic-User
Interface (GUI) software is also available for
Windows based tablet PC / notebooks.
› Wired and wireless operation is supported.
Monitoring is also possible by using the Bi-
oreactor App for Android and iOs mobile
systems.
› During operation the tablet PC / notebook
can be removed from the device. The con-
trol tower is working independently from
the GUI software. All data is saved in the
control tower.
› The main parameter status is shown by an
LED light bar.
Green light: ok, within the range
Red light: not ok, out of the range
› If the tablet PC / notebook is connected
again, all data will be transferred from the
control tower to the GUI to be displayed.
› Safe-STOP button: To immediately pause
all actuators device (Stirrer, Heater, Pumps,
MFCs, Thermostat, Light)
Safe-STOP: Press the button at the control
tower / or the button on GUI. All actuators
stop.
Exit Safe-STOP: Press the button at the con-
trol tower only! All actuators resume back to

› Mains switch: Power-ON / Power-OFF the
device.
Power-ON: Control tower on, ready to use.
Power-OFF: Control tower off, no power.

Notice!
› Data log file is created only when starting the
"Experiment", and it records the data all the
time, from the start to the stop of the Exper-
iment, by pressing the PLAY button on the
user interface software. Only one filename is
created for one experiment (start-stop).
› In safe-STOP mode, the data log continues
recording. Log file will show all actuators
that have been stopped during the period of
time.
