Danger!
› After autoclaving: Be aware of the hot surfaces!
Caution!
› Check that the vessel fits the autoclave device!
› Avoid pressure while autoclaving!
› Keep at least one lid port open during autoclaving for pressure release!
› Keep the exhausting filter open.
› For double wall vessel, keep the double wall water connectors open!
Steps for autoclaving
› Place the vessel in the vessel stand, and then close the lid.
› Assemble the components / sensors with the vessel.
› Fill the media into the vessel (if the double-wall vessel is used, please do not fill water into
the water jacket).
› Remove the sensor cables.
› Close the caps to protect the sensor connectors.
› Use the caps, clamps or aluminium foil to cover the ports.
› Carry the vessel by the handles on the vessel stand.
› Put the vessel in the autoclave (e.g. 25 ... 30 minutes at 121 °C, liquid cycle).
› After autoclaving, wait until it cools down.
