Note
Copper ports must be set to Auto-Negotiation to function at
1000Mbps. The network devices must be IEEE 802.3u compliant.
Note
Copper ports should not use Auto-Negotiation to set speed and
duplex mode when connected to devices that do not support Auto-
Negotiation. Otherwise, a speed or duplex mode mismatch might
occur between the devices, resulting in reduced performance. For
copper ports connected to devices that do not support Auto-
Negotiation, set speed and duplex mode manually.
