(3) Loosen the coupling on the ball screw side and lift the roller rest until the stage
difference with the top block cam follower running surface becomes 0.2mm or less.
Then, fix it temporarily.
* If the stage difference reaches more than 0.2mm, it might damage the top block or
nozzle shaft. Take the greatest care.
(4) Connect the connector and perform the cable treatment.
* For the cable treatment, take care of the arrangement so that there are no twists or
bends due to sliding.
(5) Turn ON the power to the machine and start up the machine.
(6) Perform the zeroing operation for "NL → HL → NS → DD" axes in this order.
Select "Maint.", "DVC Check" and "Motor" in this order and select the changed block
in "Motor" window. Then, select "NL" and "Axis Select" in this order and press the
[START] button in the "Axis Select" window.
The same procedure is applied to the HL-, NS- and DD-axis to zero.
(7) In the same window, select "NS" and "Servo Switch" in this order and touch "Servo
OFF" in the upper right of the "Servo Switch" window.
For safety purpose, turn OFF the XY-beam Servo.
* After the adjustment, turn ON the servo.
(8) Set the dial gauge on the nozzle No. 1
(lower side of the head) position and turn
the NS-axis by hand. Adjust it by means
of loosening the coupling setscrew on the
ball screw so that the top block's (cam
follower) delivery level (stage difference)
becomes within "+/- 0.01 mm".
* Adjust it by loosening it slightly and
gradually unscrewing the coupling set
screw, looking at the dial gauge.
