Releasing EPB
Manual release: When the vehicle is in
any gear other than Park and EPB has
been engaged, press the brake pedal
and the EPB switch. The EPB indicator
goes out along with a text prompt
reading "Parking brake released" on the
instrument cluster.
Automatic release: When the vehicle is
parked on a slope below 10 degrees,
press the brake pedal and shift from Park
or Neutral to Drive or Reverse to
automatically release EPB. The EPB
indicator
goes out along with a text
prompt reading "Parking brake released"
on the instrument cluster.
Automatic Vehicle Hold
(AVH)
The AVH system can automatically ensure
the vehicle remains stationary. When the
vehicle is stopped while the power system
is running, especially when waiting for
traffic lights or driving on busy roads, using
AVH can make it so the driver does not
have to continuously press the brake pedal
or engage the parking brake via the EPB
switch.
Conditions to Enable AVH
The AVH system can be enabled if:
The driver has fastened the seat belt,

and all doors are closed;
The vehicle is powered on.
Turning AVH On/Off
After the conditions above are all met,
press the AVH button to turn AVH on. The
switch indicator then lights up. At this time,
the AVH function is in standby, and the AVH
indicator on the instrument cluster lights
up (white).
Press the AVH button again to turn it off.
After the vehicle has come to a complete
stop by pressing the brake pedal, the AVH
function has been enabled along with both
the brake lights and the high mount brake
light on, and the green AVH indicator
displayed on the instrument cluster. The
brake pedal can then be released.
After 10 minutes of operation, AVH reverts
to standby and EPB engages automatically.
To release and revert the AVH function back
to standby, press the accelerator pedal and
shift to Park or pull up the EPB switch.
Driving at Low Speeds
With AVH in standby:
When shifting to Park, the AVH function
takes effect if the vehicle is moving at a
low speed. When backing up the vehicle
in Reverse at a low speed or driving in
Drive at a low speed, the AVH function
