used to locate or lock/unlock the vehicle.
When the 12V battery (starter Fe battery) is
in dormant mode, bring the remote control
key into the activation area of the front left
door, double press the microswitch on the
handle to awaken the 12V battery (starter
Fe battery), unlock the vehicle and use it
normally.
REMINDER
•
If the operation above cannot awaken
the vehicle, it indicates that the 12V
battery (starter Fe battery) SOC may
have been exhausted. Contact a BYD
authorised dealer or service provider.
Turning Hazard Warning
Lights
The hazard warning lights should be on to
alert other road users and reduce the risk of
traffic accidents when:
•
The vehicle is faulty;
•
The vehicle is at the rear end of a traffic
jam;
•
The vehicle is towing a trailer or being
towed;
•
Visibility is low in rainy and foggy
weather.

The hazard warning lights can be turned
on/off by pressing the hazard warning light
switch.
When the hazard warning lights are on, the
turning lights and turn signal indicators on
the instrument cluster will flash.
REMINDER
•
If the hazard warning lights fail
to work, other measures must be
taken to alert others. The measures
taken must comply with local traffic
regulations.
