Locking from
Outside
The vehicle can be locked with:
•

Remote control key;

•
Microswitch;
•
Interior boot lid switch;
•
NFC key card*.
REMINDER
•
Locking with the mechanical key
is an unconventional way to lock.
For emergency locking using
the mechanical key, refer to the
Emergency - Owner's Emergency
- Emergency Unlocking/Locking
section.
•
The Rear Mirror Fold feature can be
activated by tapping on
Vehicle Settings > Side Mirrors on
the centre console touchscreen. After
the function is activated, the side
mirrors automatically fold when the
vehicle is locked from the outside.
•
If the driver attempts to lock the
vehicle when any door or the bonnet
is not closed, a beep is heard, the
turning lights do not flash and the
side mirrors do not fold (if the Auto
Mirror Fold function is on), meaning
locking has failed.
•
Make sure the vehicle has been
successfully locked by checking that
all windows and the sunroof are
closed.

Remote Control Key
When the vehicle is OFF with all doors and
bonnet closed, and the remote control key
within range.

Locking with the
Microswitch
Press the button to lock all doors
simultaneously. The turning lights flash
once and the side mirrors automatically
fold (if the Auto Mirror Fold function is
on).
Press and hold the Lock button to lock
the vehicle with all windows rolling up
automatically. (To activate the Long
Press Lock Key to Close Windows
function, tap on
Settings > Doors, Windows and Lock
on the centre console touchscreen.)
