CAUTION!
•
Park where there is no snow or water
to prevent water from freezing and
tearing the wheels.
•
Place a wood board under the tyres to
protect them from snow.
•
Avoid parking under trees to prevent
damage from falling ice.
•
After parking, lift the wiper arm to
prevent it from freezing onto the
windscreen, which may cause tearing
or damage to the motor.
Using Anti-Skid Chains
Install anti-skid chains on the front
and rear wheels before driving in harsh
environments such as snowy or icy roads.
WARNING!
•
Anti-skid chains should be installed
on the front and rear wheels in pairs.
•
Never drive at speeds exceeding 30
km/h or the speed specified for the
anti-skid chains, whichever is smaller.
Do not speed, accelerate, decelerate
or turn sharply.
•
When decelerating, use the brake
pedal correctly. Sudden braking on
snowy or icy roads will cause the
vehicle to skid, drift or slip. Maintain a
safe distance from the vehicle ahead,
and gently press the brake pedal when
needed. Note that the anti-skid chains
installed on the tyres can provide the
proper amount of friction, but cannot
completely prevent skidding.
•
Using anti-skid chains that are not up
to specifications will adversely affect
the performance and safety of the
vehicle.

CAUTION!
•
Do not use anti-skid chains on dry
ground. Remove anti-skid chains
once road surfaces are free from ice or
snow.
REMINDER
•
Follow local regulations before fitting
on tyre chains.
