7.2 Communication using computer link/ PC link
Computer link and PC link communication via the EN655 type1 is supported for the type1 light
controller light. When using this function, EN655's unit number, slot number as well as the port must be
configured in the type1 light controller's module parameters. For details on the setting procedures as well
as the function descriptions, refer to the Unified Controller nv series type1 light Functional Manual
(6F8C1221).
The EN655 module allows one socket each for computer link/ PC link communication use.
NOTE
・ Even when through the host's diagnosis function, the controller is detected as "unhealthy",
the computer link/ PC link sockets will not be closed.
NOTE
・ Computer link/ PC link use UDP/IP for transmission. UDP/IP does not have a
retransmission control function and so, abnormalities communication must be supported in
the application level.
When reading from or writing to other controller's registers through PC link communication, USEND_N
and URCV_N instructions are sent from the type1 light controller's application.
