The Transferpette® -8/-12 electronic switches itself off automatically 10 minutes after the last opera-
tion (auto power off).
The Transferpette® -8/-12 electronic fits ergonomically in your hand. For absolutely effortless opera-
tion of the function keys, the hand position can be further optimized by means of the finger grip,
which is height-adjustable via a screw.

4 Commissioning

4.1 First Steps

1. Insert rechargeable battery

Open the cover of the battery compartment.

Insert the rechargeable battery into the compartment.
Make sure that the plug of the rechargeable battery is
firmly inserted into the socket in the instrument.

Replace the cover of the battery compartment and
close it.
The Transferpette® -8/-12 electronic automatically requests a
reference run immediately after the battery is inserted. After
pressing the pipetting key, the reference run is carried out,
and the instrument is ready for pipetting.
