It is recommended to perform the checks in the listed order.
1 Check that information is shown and can be navigated through on the display
of the remote controller user interface.
2 Check the display for the following items:
▪ Pinhole, bright spot, black spot, white spot, black line, white line, foreign
particle, bubble:
The color of a small area is different from the remainder. The phenomenon
does NOT change with voltage.
▪ Contrast variation:
The color of a small area is different from the remainder. The phenomenon
changes with voltage.
▪ Polarizer defect:
Scratch, dirt, particle, bubble on polarizer or between polarizer and glass.
▪ Dot defect:
The pixel appears bright or dark abnormally.
▪ Functional defect:
No display, abnormal display, open or missing segment, short circuit, false
viewing directon.
▪ Glass defect:
Glass cracks, shaved corner of glass, surplus glass.
