7.8 Communication Settings

The communication settings determine how the device outputs the barcode data. You can go to
Communication Settings module to select different communication protocols, and set
corresponding parameters.
The communication protocol is related to the device mode. In the Test mode or Raw mode, the
device only support Smart SDK protocol and no settings are required. While in Normal mode, you
can select different communication protocols, including Smart SDK, TCP Server, TCP Client, Serial,
FTP or HTTP, and set the corresponding parameters.

7.8.1 Smart SDK

If select Smart SDK as the Communication Protocols, you can enable SmartSdk Protocol to let the
device output data via Smart SDK.

If enabled, the device will compress the image data.
Quantity of Jpg
You can enter a number (range: 50 to 99) to determine the compression quality
