Processor (CPU)

Safety notes

CAUTION
Do not install unsupported CPUs. For more information on
supported CPUs, see
Circuit boards and soldered parts of internal options are exposed
and can be damaged by static electricity. Always discharge static
build-up (e.g. by touching a grounded object) before handling
electrostatic sensitive devices (ESDs).
Do not touch the circuitry on boards or soldered parts. Hold circuit
boards by their metallic areas or edges.
When removing or installing CPUs, be careful not to touch or bend
the spring contacts on the CPU sockets.
Never touch the underside of the CPUs. Even minor soiling such as
grease from the skin can impair the CPU's operation or destroy the
CPUs.
