Description
X-plore 3550 offers a clasp in the neck strap, which enables the
wearer to remove the half mask by releasing the clasp, without
removing the head harness. The half mask provides the soft head
harness. The color of the mask body is black.
The half mask consists of mask body, yoke, head harness, and straps.
The half mask must be used together with respiratory filters. The
choice of the filters depends on the pollutants in the environment. Only
Dräger X-plore series bayonet filters may be used.
Operating temperature of the half mask ranges from -22 °F to 140 °F
(-30 °C to 60 °C). For the operating temperatures of different filters,
see corresponding Instructions for Use.
2.3

Intended use

The half mask and two respiratory filters of the Dräger X-plore series
form an air purifying respirator. Air purifying respirators filter certain
gases, vapors and particles from the air breathed by the wearer within
specified limit values.
For information on the application and which filters can be used,
please refer to the Instructions for Use of the X-plore Bayonet
Respiratory Filters and the NIOSH approval matrix (see separate
insert).
