Use

The masks are module B type-tested and must not be modified.
All Dräger FPS 7000 RP have a wiper.
One Dräger FPS 7000 RP model is equipped with a drinking valve. A drinking
tube can be used to connect a CamelBak
FPS 7000 RP. However, this drinking reservoir is not suitable and approved for
firefighting.
Mask spectacles can be inserted for users who wear spectacles.
The facepieces can be used at temperatures from -30 °C to +60 °C.
3.3

Intended use

The Dräger FPS 7000 RP protect the face and eyes against aggressive media
and are approved for use with Dräger closed-circuit breathing apparatus.
3.4

Limitations on use

WARNING
Beards and sideburns in the sealing area of the full face mask will cause
leakages. Therefore, the full face mask should not be used by anyone with
facial hair of this sort. Earpieces in the sealing area also cause leakages.
► Use special mask spectacles.

The full face masks are approved according to:
EN 136:1998 CL.3+
(EU) 2016/425
(EU) 2016/425 as brought into UK law and amended
The mask/helmet combinations are also approved according to:
DIN 58610:2014

hydration pack to the Dräger
Both versions meet the flame engulfment requirements stipulated in EN 137.
The full face masks and mask/helmet combinations combined with the
Dräger PSS BG 4 / PSS BG 4 plus / BG ProAir are approved according to
EN 145.

Use
4.1

Conditions for use

The mask/helmet combination needs to be carefully adapted to the equipment
wearer (correct mask size, fastening plate settings and internal helmet
components) due to its design.
