Maintenance work

4.3.1
Examining the inhalation valve disc
1. Remove the inhalation valve disc and examine it.
2. Insert the inhalation valve disc into the half mask. 
The inhalation valve disc should rest evenly on the sealing area
inside the mask body. Replace the disc if required.

Examining the exhalation valve disc
1. Remove the yoke from the mask body (see Figure I).
2. Hold the exhalation valve disc by the edge and pull it out.
3. Examine the valve seat for dirt and damage, and wipe it with a
disposable tissue if necessary.
4. Press the exhalation valve disc into the valve seat until it engages.
The disc should rest evenly on the valve seat. Replace the disc if
required.
5. Fit the yoke on the mask body (see Section 3.2.2).

Storage
Store the half mask in a dry, dust-free place where it is not being
deformed. Storage temperature: 14° F to 131° F (-10 °C to 55 °C) at
<90 % rel. humidity.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and heat. Observe ISO 2230 and
national regulations for storage, maintenance, and cleaning of rubber
products.

Disposal
Dispose of the half mask and the respiratory filters according to local
waste disposal regulations.
