3-4-2. Replacing the I Sprocket and C
Sprocket
This section describes the replacement of the C
sprocket (T side), but the C sprocket (S side) and
I sprocket (S side and T side) can be replaced in
the same way.
Removal
1. Turn OFF the AC power supplied to the FVS-1000.

Be sure to turn off the AC power supplied to the FVS-1000
first before proceeding with the work due to the risk of
electrical hazards.
2. Remove the F-GR flange using the slotted screwdriver
(middle).

The height of the F-GR flange has been adjusted.
Do not rotate the setscrew.
3. Remove the hexagonal screw with hole on the sprocket.
4. Remove the washer CAP.
5. Loosen the two setscrews on the side completely, and
remove the sprocket.

The spacer for adjusting height is installed between the
sprocket and motor. Be careful not to lose it.

6. With the receiving side with the largest diameter at the
top, align the position of the D cut portion of the motor
shaft and the setscrew, and install the sprocket.
7. Tighten the setscrew after installing the sprocket.
8. Install the washer cap, and secure with the hexagonal
screw with hole.
9. Install the F-GR flange using a slotted screwdriver
(middle).
