Requirements on the technical room

The following minimum requirements must be met
before the cogeneration module is moved and installed
in the technical room:

The place where the cogeneration module is
installed should be level and have sufficient load
bearing capacity.

Provide sufficient space for carrying out
installation and maintenance work (Fig. 6).

The technical room should have water supply and
a floor drain with oil barrier.

A competent firm should check to see if extra
noise control measures are required.

If the cogeneration module is installed after prior
dismantling, this must be done by supplier
personnel to ensure that warranty is not lost.

The effects of external vibrations, e.g., transmitted
through the building, or electromagnetic radiation,
must be reduced to an absolute minimum and
documented at the time of start-up.

The room where it will be erected should be made
pursuant to the applicable firing directive and
applicable construction law ordinances/
regulations. We recommend integrating the CHP
module into the fire protection strategy for safe
operation.

To increase workplace safety for the operator we
recommend that you install a CO monitor in the
installation room.
CAUTION
Do not store or use flammable materials
or liquids near the Block-type thermal
power plant.
Do not smoke or use open fire or naked
flame during operation of the block-type
thermal power plant.
We recommend, similar to the
requirement of the old Heating Room
Directive, installing a fire extinguisher of
the appropriate size (at least 9 l) in the
technical room.

The following signs shall be put up both
outside and inside the technical room:
Prohibition sign P 06
"No access for unauthorized persons"
Prohibition sign P 02
"Fire, naked light and smoking not
permitted"
Prohibition sign P 11
"No access for persons wearing a
pacemaker"
