13.1 Vortek NXT Technical Data

Features
• Zero fleet angle hoist design with a helically-grooved aluminum drum
• Powerhead manages up to 7 lift lines with 18m (59 ft) of travel
• Uses 3/16 in. wire rope which accommodates up to 190 kg (418 lbs) per lift line, based on a 10:1
design factor
• Up to two lift lines can be configured to exit the bottom of the chassis (one at each end of the
powerhead)
• Powerhead is only 23 cm (9 in.) wide, and can achieve line set spacing down to 15.25 cm (6 in.)
when interleaved
• Primary electromechanical brake is in the motor, and a secondary mechanical Weston-style load-
side brake is post gearbox, coupled directly to the drum - both brakes are rated at 150% of static
hoist capacity
• Hoists can be operated using QT1-C Field Service Kit, QuickTouch+ or Foundation controllers
• All powerheads include overload protection, and load profiling via built-in load cells
• Four hard-struck limit switches with LED indicator lights for more efficient installation
• Incremental encoder for accurate and consistent positioning
• Conforms to the European Machine, EMC, and Low Voltage Directives
