8.4 Testing and Resetting E-stop System

Press the red Emergency Stop button fully. The E-stop button will lock in the pressed position once it
is pressed and the QT1-C display will confirm local E-stop has been triggered.
Triggering the E-stop will stop all travel of the connected hoist. All hoist travel will be prohibited as long
as the stop button remains in the locked position.
Reset the E-stop circuit by turning the red Emergency Stop button clockwise until it pops back into its
raised position
After resetting the E-stop, you must also cycle power at the QT1-C Field Service Kit using the power
keyswitch.

You will not be able to move the hoist until power has been cycled
Test the E-stop system prior to each use of the Vortek hoist, or at least once a day.
