7.5.2 Hoist Placement

Motor End hoist beam clamps are secured at the first position and cannot be adjusted. You must align
the Motor End of the hoist with the corresponding edge of the beam flange. This can be accomplished
by using a laser level to distinguish between the leading edge of the I-beam and the Motor End beam
clamp.
WARNING:
Directly attach lift lines to the hoist lifting clip
wire rope to be sure to have enough to go the total distance of the lift.

The hoist weighs approximately 295 kg (650 lbs) out of the crate. Take
precautions when lifting, making sure that the area is roped off and
personnel are away from the lifting area.
