7.2 Uncrating Vortek Hoist
The wooden shipping container is a two-piece unit. The top portion that consists of the top, ends and
sides are one unit
1:
The crate top is secured to the bottom skid with wood screws. Remove the screws, four on each
side and two on each end.
2:
Lift the crate top off the bottom skid.
3:
Cut the banding and remove the poly sheeting from the hoist
and the Vortek Hoist Installation Kit will be loosely attached on top of the unit. Remove these
items and place them in a safe location. They will be required during this installation procedure.
