Disposal

Proper disposal of the machine is the responsibility of the owner. The materials used for the machine
are steel, aluminum, brass, and various plastic materials. The electrical equipment comprises plastic
materials and copper. The machine is to be disposed of according to the locally valid pollution control
regulations, such as The Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations; if necessary, a
specialist is to be commissioned.
Care must be taken that parts soiled with Acme screw (leadscrew) lubricant are disposed of separately
according to the locally valid pollution control regulations. Motor gearbox lubricant must be disposed
according to the locally valid pollution control regulations.
Dispose of the motors in accordance with the material structure and the regulations in force:
• Iron
• Aluminum
• Copper
• Plastics
• Electronic components
• Oil and grease (not mixed with solvents)
