8.3 Power On
1:
Turn the mains power feeding the hoist on.

Turn the Motor Control Box power switch to the ON position [

Insert the key into the keyswitch of the QT1-C Field Service Kit and turn it to the ON position. The
hoist and QT1-C Field Service Kit will perform a self-test.
4:
After the hoist passes the self-test, the station will power up completely, and "System OK"
displays on the LCD.
8.3.1 QT1-C Field Service Kit Start Up
A start-up screen is shown as the system powers up. This screen displays contact information for the
installer responsible for the system or ETC's website and phone number. Your installer may have
chosen to display their contact information. The software version is also displayed during the start up.
By default, this contact information is displayed for 3 seconds. To prolong the display of contact
information indefinitely on a multi-hoist controller, press and hold [Preset] during power-up. The
contact information will be displayed until any other button is pressed.
WARNING:
Turn the keyswitch to the OFF position and remove the key. The station will be deactivated.
Operation

When you are done using your control station, or when you will be leaving it
unattended for any length of time, deactivate the station.
