SHORT-CIRCUITING THE SPEAKER OUTPUTS
Connecting the positive and negative terminals of the speaker's binding posts while
the amplifier is on will cause a short circuit. In this event, the speaker outputs will
automatically switch off to prevent damage to the device. The front LED (1) will flash
orange. On the control panel, LED 1 in the status display (17) will light up orange.
To reset the protective function after a short circuit:
Switch off the power amplifier.

Check the connections to the loudspeakers.
Switch the power amplifier on again.

If the error persists, please contact your dealer.

Even though the protection circuit will prevent damage to the power amplifier,
you should observe the following instructions to avoid a short circuit:
Switch off the power amplifier before connecting the speaker cables.

Connect the speaker cables to the loudspeakers first, then to the power amplifier.

Never connect the positive and negative terminals of the speaker's binding posts

to each other or to other conductive parts, e.g. the housing of the power amplifier.
