EXT button
Used to select the external heading source as the heading reference. The
status lamp is lit to indicate that the external heading reference source is
active.

DISP button
Used to display data on the LCD. Refer Display present settings for each
compass, page 18.
SET button
Used to change data and input sources. Refer System start-up and
software configuration, page 62 onwards.
ACK/ENT button
Used to confirm a change in data and input sources. Refer System start-up
and software configuration, page 62 onwards.
The button is also used to acknowledge an alarm as described in
Acknowledging an alarm, page 26.
ARROW buttons
Used to increase or decrease a parameter value. Refer System start-up and
software configuration, page 62 onwards
Also used for lamp test and to set the display illumination as described on
page 16.
Alarm indicators
Used to indicate an alarm situation. Refer Alarm messages, page 25.
