Specific quality check procedures
It is recommended to perform a suitable quality check procedure for the
planned application
Refer to the particular daily quality check procedures described within
the specific assay manuals
Calibration Beads
A quality check (QC) procedure is available for the device. This process controls scatter
and fluoresncence parameters as well as optical alignment of the device.
Requirements
Sample tube with Calibration Beads 3 µm, ready-to-use
Priming has been performed
Procedure
1. Open the QC Cube 6 V2m configuration file. [Prime Mode] is default.
2. Select the [QC Mode].
3. Press [Start].
4. Follow the instructions until the quality check is completed.
5. Click [Continue].
NOTICE
Adjusting Device Settings during a Quality Check
Signals should be visible in the scatter and fluorescence parameters. The
predefined regions indicates the position, where the signals of the
Calibration Beads 3 µM are expected.
If the signals of the Calibration Beads 3 µM are not within the
predefined region, Gain values have to be adjusted accordingly.
Use [Work Mode] to adjust gain values in a way that the peaks of the
Calibration Beads 3 µM appear exactly at "3" on the x-axis of all
histograms.
