3. Cut/saw the 076111 Spacer-Bottom-Platen (mounting
post) in half and remove both halves (on the right
side when looking at the grill from the front). This will
allow the center heater to be slid to either side and
removed.
Note: There are six fasteners (079145) that secure
each heater to the lower plate.

4. The 0.375 in. x 0.750 in. slot that the mounting post
(076111 Spacer-Bottom-Platen) was removed from
will now need to be enlarged to a 0.875 in. hole to
accommodate the new mounting post. This will allow
the replacement spacer (provided in the kit) to be
properly installed after the center heater has been
replaced.

5. Install the new center heater. Install the replacement
post (076111 Spacer-Bottom-Platen) through the 
0.875 in. hole and use the orignal mounting nut to
tighten the new spacer to the lower plate.
Note: This method will properly secure the spacer
(076111 Spacer-Bottom-Platen) to the lower plate.
6. After the spacer has been tightened, remove the
mounting nut. Install the 070734 Washer-
.406IDX1.25ODX.046TH and the mounting nut and
tighten.
7. Re-install the lower heater cover assembly and all
exterior panels that were removed.
