Cause
Mode of the block is
„Out of Service"
Hardware Error
Not all transducer
blocks are in "Auto"
mode.
Cause
Valve is actuating.
Lead breakage or short cir-
cuit at valve or sensor.
Valve is not in final posi-
tion.
Resource block is in "Out
of Service" mode.
The PFCs have displayed
an unexpected valve posi-
tion (not: open-intermedi-
ate-closed and vice versa).
Breakaway time is longer
than 1 min.
Transit time is longer than
3 min.
The lead and/or short cir-
cuit monitor has detected
an error.

Error detection and problem solutions
Elimination
Set Target Mode to „AUTO" .
Send device to
Pepperl+Fuchs for repair.
Set transducer blocks to
"Auto" mode.
Elimination
Start initialisation run again as soon as the valve has
reached the set position.
Check wiring of sensors and valve.
• Check PFCs.
• Check auxiliary power.
• Check drive.
Set resource block into "Auto" mode.
Check PFCs and contacts.
• Auxiliary power too low.
• Friction too high.
• Drive or pilot valve defective.
• System pressure too high.
• Auxiliary power too low.
• Friction too low.
• Drive or pilot valve defective.
• Check wiring of sensors and valve.
