Server Secret
To configure the FortiWiFi unit for RADIUS authentication
1 Go to User > RADIUS.
2 Select Create New to add a new RADIUS server or select the Edit icon to edit an
existing configuration.
3 Enter the Name of the RADIUS server.
4 Enter the domain name or IP address of the RADIUS server.
5 Enter the RADIUS server secret.
6 Select OK.
To delete a RADIUS server
You cannot delete a RADIUS server that has been added to a user group.
1 Go to User > RADIUS.
2 Select the Delete icon beside the RADIUS server name that you want to delete.
3 Select OK.
If you have configured LDAP support and a user is required to authenticate using an
LDAP server, the FortiWiFi unit contacts the LDAP server for authentication. To
authenticate with the FortiWiFi unit, the user enters a user name and password. The
FortiWiFi unit sends this user name and password to the LDAP server. If the LDAP
server can authenticate the user, the user is successfully authenticated with the
FortiWiFi unit. If the LDAP server cannot authenticate the user, the connection is
refused by the FortiWiFi unit.

Enter a name to identify the RADIUS server.
Enter the RADIUS server secret.
