With Connex 3D printing systems, you have great flexibility in preparing
model files and printing them. Below are the major workflows you can use.
Detailed instructions for implementing the listed tasks are in chapter 5
("Using Objet Studio").
Workflow A
•
Design a 3D object.
•
Save it as a single stl
file.
•
Open (Insert) the stl
file.
•
Separate the object
into its components
("shells").
•
Assign materials to
the components.
•
Save the object as an objdf file (optional).
•
Save the build tray. / Send the build to the printer.
Models are produced in the printer.
•
Remove the support material from the models.
