OPERATION
7.1 Switch Box and Joystick Control
The diagrams below and on the next page show the functions that are performed through the use of the
joystick controller.
The Safety Shield switch opens and closes the shield located on the front of the cutter head. When moving at
or near the ground, always have the shield in the closed position. When moving in brush or in trees above
ground level the shield may be opened for easier cutting. Read and follow the warnings on the decal shown
below. Do not run the cutter into material larger than 6" diameter.
