MAINTENANCE
TIGHTENING SPINDLE BOLTS
The spindle mounting bolts should be checked and
retorqued daily or every 8 hours of service. Torque
the (6) bolts shown below to 357 dry or 315 ft. lbs.
lubricated.
GREASING PUMP DRIVE SHAFT COUPLER
With engine stopped, ensure driveshaft alignment
by grasping coupler and sliding back and forth.
Coupler should slide freely with approximately 1/8"
of end play. If coupler does not slide freely, inspect
for loose pump mount bolts, or damaged or loose
crankshaft
adapter.
Inject
Lithium-Complex
Extreme Pressure grease conforming to NLGI2-ISO
320 specifications into coupler until grease begins
to protrude from ends. Grease daily or every 8
hours. Do not over grease.
