FEATURE BOARD LOAD I N G CHECK
For this check, each feature board is removed one at a time and the au­
tomatic diagnos tic testing is run between each remova l .
CAUT I O N :
The MMU board i s not a feature board .
equipped with a n MMU board, do not remove i t a s part of th i s
chec k .
Note :
I f a memory board is removed in this check, any memory boards above
it should have their addres ses changed to e l iminate gaps in the address ing
s cheme .
When the memory board is reinserted , the addres ses should be
restored .
Remove each feature board and test individua l ly to conduct feature board
loading check .
A feature board is defective and should be replaced during
the check i f the fault disappears when the board is removed and reappears
when
it
is
reinserted .
