Careful ly lay the diskette drive assembly on its s ide and remove the
five screws holding its cover in p l ace .

Return the assembly to its upright posit ion and s l ide the cover to
ward the front .

Carefu l ly lay the assembly o n its s ide again so that the diskette
drive to be removed is on the top .
Locate and remove the mounting s crew securing the diskette drive to

the hous ing . See Figure 5 - 2 6 .
8 .
S l ide the diskette drive out a few inches and dis connect the three
connectors on the rear of the diskette drive .
9 .
Remove the diskette drive .
