R E PLACEMENT
Remove the r ibbon cartr idge from its package .
1 .
insert from the end of the cartridge .
2 .
Pu l l 4 inches of r ibbon from the r ight end o f the cartridge .
3 .
Position the cartridge on the cartridge rack about 1 inch to the
right of the feed rollers its final position .
runners , and the cartridge its e l f has ridges in the bottom .
the ribbon from the left end o f the cartridge between the feed
rollers but not around any of the other ribbon posts at this time .
4 .
Press the cartr idge down on the rack and s l ide it to the left unt i l
i t snaps into position .

Working from the right to the left , bring the r ibbon around guide
posts 1 and 2 between the nylon r ibbon carrier and the print head
hooks and under the hooks and fina l ly around guide posts 3 , 4 , and

Press down the small brass locking button on the left s ide of the
cartridge rack .
