2.4. Microprocessor

The mainboard is designed to operate with the following processors:
Processor Type
AMD Athlon/Duron
An onboard switching voltage regulator provides the required 1.1 to
1.85 volts for the processor. The processor sends five VID (Voltage
Identification) signals to the switching voltage regulator. The switch-
ing regulator generates the correct voltage for the processor.
