the original, you can also cancel
the transmission by removing
the original from the machine.
While Scanning the Original

Press the { { { { Clear/Stop} } } } key.
The machine will stop storing the
data from the original and the data
will not be sent.

Read the message in the display.
The following displays appear one
after the other.

Remove the original.

During Transmission
Use this procedure to cancel a trans-
mission after the original has been
scanned.
Note
❒ If transmission finishes while you
are carrying out this procedure, it
will not be canceled.
❒ If you cancel a message while it is
being sent, transmission is halted
as soon as you finish this proce-
dure. However, some pages of
your message may have already
been sent and will be received at
the other end.
❒ During transmission, you can can-
cel the transmission by pressing
the { { { { Clear/Stop} } } } key.
