7.2 Using the Scanner Tip

Each scanner is delivered with three (3) reusable tips, that can be sterilized in an
autoclave up to 250 times.
1. Attach the tip with the mirror side facing down-
ward. Firmly press the tip onto the scanner until you
hear it lock into place.
2. Detach the tip by pressing the button located on
the bottom of the handpiece (1) while pulling away
from the scanner (2).
3. Rotate the tip 180 degrees, if you wish to make
maxillary scanning more
IMPORTANT: To avoid scanning errors, make sure
the scanner tip clicks securely into place
4. For ease of use, hold the EzScan handpiece as
shown.
