This figure addresses removal of existing Expansion
and connector cards. Naturally, if these cards are
being installed as an upgrade, they will not be present
in the unit at this step in the procedure.
7. Handling the motherboard only by its edges, lift it slightly and
move it back against the fan, then set it down.
If installing a new Expansion card and connector card, go to
10. If replacing an existing connector card, go to step 8.
8. The connector card is secured to the motherboard by four
mounting posts (standoffs). (See
squeeze the tabs at the top of each post (see the following figure)
together with a pair of pliers, then slip the card over the tabs.
