Testing & Replacing Components
Several hardware components of an FRX4000 can be tested and/or
replaced in the field by a qualified service person. This chapter
describes replacement and installation of cards and memory
modules.
Static electricity can destroy the FRX4000 hardware.
Take the necessary precautions to discharge any static
before touching components or cards. If you have a
grounding wrist strap, wear it.
For reference, Figure 3-1 through Figure 3-3 show front, rear, and
interior views of the FRX4000 chassis.
