Title TransVu 3 DVR Installation Manual
Stream Profiles : The following settings configure live video streams taken from the unit.
Compression:
Resolution:
BitRate_kbps:
PPS:
I Frame Rate
Note: An MPEG I-frame is considerably larger than a P-frame. Therefore, the lower the GOP ratio,
the higher the disk space required to store recorded images.
Record Profile Selection : The following settings select, which of the above profiles are used for
recording, differently to live streaming. Different profiles can be selected depending on whether
the unit is in Normal Mode or Event Mode and also depending on whether it is day, night or
weekend.
For most efficient recording a higher profile should be selected for event mode than for normal
mode and activity detection should be enabled using the alarm pages.
