Title TransVu 3 DVR Installation Manual
Title: Assign a recognisable name to the camera. This will be displayed in all references to the
camera in the both the Configuration and Viewer menus.
Mode: Select the type of camera to be connected to this channel. Available choices are:
No Conn – no camera connected to this channel
•
Mono – monochrome analogue camera
•
Colour – colour analogue camera
•
IP Camera Remote Codec – a NetVu SmartVu IP camera
•
IP Address: The IP address of the camera.
IP Port: The IP port of the camera.
IP Channel: The physical channel on the camera to use. If the IP Address above is a multichannel
device, this setting specifies which channel to use.
Stream Protocol: Choose between TCP streaming and UDP streaming for remote codec operation
only. TCP is used when connections are less reliable as it provides a degree of error correction. UDP
streaming provides increased network streaming bandwidth but only provides limited error
correction.
SD Sensor Aspect Ratio: Sets the pixel aspect ratio for if the camera is Standard Definition
analogue.
Click on "Save" to save any changes made. If "Save" is not clicked then any changes made will not
be saved.

This page shows a thumbnail image of each camera plus an overview of its settings. The page is
useful when checking that all cameras have been detected.
