The Digital Gateway is connected to Switchgear Control Network providing facility to connect

additional Digital Gateway and other system tools and components (e.g. CMES Edge, Web

browser, Time Server, configuration tool, etc.). A network switch must be installed in the

plant. All network components are connected to the switch with standard CAT5 / CAT6 patch

cable.

It is recommended that a managed network switch is used to connect the Digital
